In the fall of 2018, the College of the Holy Cross will honor the ninth class in the Crusader Football Legends Ring of Honor. The class will be honored during a ceremony at Fitton Field with permanent recognition in the stadium. This year's Ring of Honor inductions will take place during the Yale game on Sept. 15.

Six graduating seniors from the 2017 Holy Cross football team have been selected to the 2018 Hampshire Honor Society, as announced by the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame. The team is comprised of graduating seniors from schools across the country who were starters or key reserves and maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20.

The College of the Holy Cross football team has named Patrick Murphy its new offensive coordinator, as announced by head coach Bob Chesney. Murphy has over two decades of coaching experience, and joins the Crusaders after spending the last two seasons at Tufts University.
