Holy Cross senior wide receiver Jake Wieczorek has been named the 2016 Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year in the sport of football. He becomes only the second Crusader football player to ever win the award, joining Ryan McGuire (2008). Wieczorek was also selected to the 2016 Academic All-Patriot League team, where he was joined by senior free safety Luke Ford.
The Holy Cross men's basketball team comes home to the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex this weekend, to take part in the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational. The Crusaders will face South Carolina State on Friday, Nov. 25, at 1:05 p.m., and then take on Monmouth on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 12:05 p.m. In between those contests, Monmouth and South Carolina State will play on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 1:05 p.m.
