WORCESTER, Mass. – A group who set numerous school records and won several conference and national awards headline this year's class of six individuals who will be inducted into the Holy Cross Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame this year. The 2018 inductees into the Hall of Fame are Liz Abbott (Class of 1989, swimming and diving), Terrence Butt (Class of 1995, baseball, ice hockey), John Connors (Class of 1961, basketball), Katie O'Keefe (Class of 2003, basketball), Steve Silva (Class of 2006, football) and Josh Trott (Class of 2007, soccer).

Thirty-one members of the Holy Cross football team have been selected to the 2017 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference office. Leading the Crusaders was senior tight end Jayke Simsheuser, who was named to the Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time during his collegiate career.
