The CBS Sports Network has announced that it will televise all four games of the inaugural Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic. The two-day, four-team event will take place at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland, from Dec. 1-2, 2017. Holy Cross is one of four teams which will play in the event, along with La Salle, Manhattan and Towson.
The Crusader Coaches' Show presented by JMB Financial Advisors will kick off its third season on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. The show, featuring all of the latest commentary and insight on Holy Cross Athletics, will air live from the Compass Tavern, located at 90 Harding Street in Worcester. Dick Lutsk will serve as the host of the show, which will include Crusader coaches and student-athletes as guests each week.

The Holy Cross men's soccer team fell to the University of Rhode Island, 2-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium. The Crusaders move to 4-6-2 (2-1-1 Patriot League), while the Rams improve to 8-2-2 (3-0-0 A10).

Senior quarterback Peter Pujals has been named the C&R Tire Crusader of the Week, for competition from Oct. 2-8. Pujals broke the school single-game record with 509 passing yards on Saturday against Monmouth.
Junior Joe Egan led Holy Cross, tying for 24th overall after shooting 74 and 73 for a two-day score of 147.
