Hannah Jeter Named To CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

Junior Hannah Jeter, a member of the Holy Cross women's cross country and track and field teams, has been selected to the 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District I squad. The team is comprised of players from Division I schools in the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Graduating Holy Cross Student-Athletes Achieve 100 Percent Giving

In the midst of another outstanding year, the Crusader Athletics Fund has added another benchmark to its list of milestones. For the second year in a row, every senior student-athlete has made a gift to support Holy Cross or Holy Cross Athletics. The senior class was able to achieve this feat at the earliest date in school history, hitting the mark in the month of February.

The spring semester came to an end with the conclusion of final exams on Wednesday, but work on the expansion and renovation of the Luth Athletic Complex remains in full swing. Considerable progress continues to be made on the facility which will be the cornerstone of Holy Cross' athletic success for many years to come.

Holy Cross Leads Nation In NCAA Public Recognition Awards

Once again this year, the College of the Holy Cross is a national leader in the academic success of its student-athletes. Holy Cross had 75 percent of its teams earn NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) public recognition awards, the highest percentage in the country ahead of Gonzaga (73.3 percent) and Dartmouth (73.1 percent).

Holy Cross Varsity Club Holds Annual Banquet

The Holy Cross Varsity Club announced its yearly awards at its 62nd annual dinner, held on Saturday, May 6, at the Hogan Campus Center. Leading the way was senior Mandy Sifferlen of the volleyball team, who was selected as the 2016-2017 Crusader of the Year. In addition to presenting its annual student-athlete awards, the club also inducted seven new members into the Hall of Fame: Maureen Flanagan, Maggie Fontana, Jack O'Connor, Kate O'Shaughnessy, Keith Simmons, James Sixsmith and the Rev. Anthony J. Kuzniewski, S.J.

Varsity Club Banquet Set For Saturday

A new class will be inducted in the Hall of Fame and numerous student-athletes will be presented with awards when the Holy Cross Varsity Club holds its 62nd annual Hall of Fame Dinner & Ceremonial Banquet this Saturday, May 6. The event will take place in the Hogan Campus Center Ballroom beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Isabela Bagi To Receive Meegan Athletic Achievement Award

Senior Isabela Bagi, a member of the Holy Cross women's ice hockey and women's tennis teams, has been selected as the 2016-2017 winner of the John A. Meegan Athletic Achievement Award. Presented by the Holy Cross Varsity Club, the Meegan Award goes to a student-athlete, regardless of class, who competed in a sport other than football, baseball and basketball, and who attained outstanding achievement during his or her college career.
