The College of the Holy Cross has named Allison Crandall its new assistant director of athletics for content and digital strategy, as announced by director of athletics Nathan Pine. Crandall will lead the department's content team in order to engage fans and deliver robust insights through video, communications, media relations, social media, digital strategy and graphic design.

Basketball season will begin in just over four months, and the excitement is already building on top of Mount St. James in anticipation of the Crusaders returning to the hardwood! The Holy Cross men are looking to capture a conference-record seventh Patriot League title, while the women's team will attempt to bring home its 12th Patriot League crown.

The spring semester came to an end with the conclusion of final exams on Wednesday, but work on the expansion and renovation of the Luth Athletic Complex remains in full swing. Considerable progress continues to be made on the facility which will be the cornerstone of Holy Cross' athletic success for many years to come.

Holy Cross women's ice hockey and women's rowing junior Tessie Salatas has been selected to attend the NCAA Career in Sports Forum from June 1-4 in Indianapolis at the NCAA national office. Salatas, the only student-athlete selected from a Patriot League school, will join more than 230 current student-athletes and NCAA scholarship and grant recipients from schools around the nation from all divisions.
The Holy Cross Department of Athletics will hold a yard sale for apparel at the main entrance of the Luth Athletic Complex. The yard sale will begin this Friday and Saturday, June 2 and 3, and will continue the following weekend on June 9 and 10.
The 2016-2017 school year came to a close on Friday, May 26, with Holy Cross celebrating its 171st Commencement Exercises at the DCU Center in downtown Worcester. Numerous student-athletes received their bachelor's degrees as part of the day's events, before celebrating with their families, friends, teammates and coaches.
The 2017 senior class has left their mark on the Hill.
Junior Hannah Jeter, a member of the Holy Cross women's cross country and track and field teams, has been selected to the 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District I squad. The team is comprised of players from Division I schools in the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
In the midst of another outstanding year, the Crusader Athletics Fund has added another benchmark to its list of milestones. For the second year in a row, every senior student-athlete has made a gift to support Holy Cross or Holy Cross Athletics. The senior class was able to achieve this feat at the earliest date in school history, hitting the mark in the month of February.
