Once again this year, the College of the Holy Cross is a national leader in the academic success of its student-athletes. Holy Cross had 75 percent of its teams earn NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) public recognition awards, the highest percentage in the country ahead of Gonzaga (73.3 percent) and Dartmouth (73.1 percent).

Sophomore Steve Tierney has been named the C&R Tire Crusader of the Week, for competition from Feb. 13-19. Tierney broke three individual school records and was a part of four record-setting relay teams for the Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team at last week's Patriot League Championship.
Sophomore Steve Tierney set his third Holy Cross all-time record at the Patriot League Championship, swimming for a time of 46.05 in the 100-yard freestyle.
