Former Holy Cross star Malcolm Miller is still chasing his dream of playing in the NBA, but he'll have to wait until he recovers from ankle surgery. The 6-foot-7 swingman signed a two-way contract with the Toronto Raptors, but hurt his right ankle on the first day of practice for their summer league team in Las Vegas. On July 17, he underwent arthroscopic surgery.

Holy Cross freshman guard Caleb Green has been named the Patriot League The Rock Rookie of the Week, for competition from Nov. 6-12. Green helped lead the Crusader men's basketball team to a victory at Sacred Heart in its season opener.

Junior forward Karl Charles scored 23 points to lead the Holy Cross men's basketball team to a 69-64 victory over Sacred Heart at the William H. Pitt Center. The Crusaders open the year at 1-0 with the win, while the Pioneers start the season 0-1.

Holy Cross Among National Leaders In Graduation Success Rate

Holy Cross' athletic teams continue to rank among the best in the nation in graduation rates, according to the latest Graduation Success Rate Report which has been released by the NCAA. The Crusaders' overall Graduation Success Rate of 97 percent for all student-athletes tied for the 14th-best mark in the country out of 351 Division I schools. This marks the 11th straight year in which Holy Cross has posted a Graduation Success Rate of at least 97 percent.

Basketball Hall Of Fame Belfast Classic To Air On CBS Sports Network

The CBS Sports Network has announced that it will televise all four games of the inaugural Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic. The two-day, four-team event will take place at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland, from Dec. 1-2, 2017. Holy Cross is one of four teams which will play in the event, along with La Salle, Manhattan and Towson.

Holy Cross director of athletics Nathan Pine and head men's basketball coach Bill Carmody have announced the Crusaders' schedule for the 2017-2018 season. Holy Cross will play seven games against teams which advanced to postseason play last year, and as many as 12 contests against schools which posted winning records in 2016-2017. The slate also features a total of 14 home games at the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex.
