Wally Trisdale is now in his fourth year as an athletic trainer at the College of the Holy Cross in 2017-2018. He serves as the athletic trainer for the Crusader men’s basketball team, in addition to working with football, women’s cross country and women’s track and field.
Prior to his time at Holy Cross, Trisdale was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Connecticut from 2012-2014. He worked with the football and men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams, providing daily treatment, care and rehabilitation to athletes. Trisdale also served as a teaching assistant, for a course on therapeutic instruction and injury assessment.
Previously, Trisdale was an intern athletic trainer at UMass Lowell from 2010-2012, working with the men’s soccer and baseball teams. He also spent time as an athletic trainer at Access Sports Medicine in Exeter, N.H., in 2010, where he provided medical coverage to small high schools in the coastal area of N.H.
Trisdale graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Hampshire in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. He then received a master’s degree in exercise science from the University of Connecticut in 2014.
Trisdale and his wife, Sarah, reside in Worcester.
