Lloyd Lee is in his first season on the Crusader coaching staff in 2017, serving as the outside linebackers coach.

Before his arrival at Holy Cross, Lee was the vice president of football operations for USA Football. He provided overall leadership to the football operations division in leading to the growth of the sport both on-and-off the field at all levels, including youth and high school football. Lee previously spent time as a coaching instructor for EFT Sports Performance, and was a volunteer assistant coach working with the linebackers and special teams at Lake Forest College for one year.

From 2004-2008, Lee served as an assistant coach for the Chicago Bears. He began his tenure as the defensive quality control coach in 2004 and 2005, before taking over as the nickelbacks coach in 2006 and 2007. During the 2008 campaign, Lee was the team’s linebackers coach. In 2006, he helped the Bears to an overall record of 13-3, the NFC Championship and a trip to Super Bowl XLI.

Prior to his time in Chicago, Lee was a pro personnel assistant and scout for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for three seasons.

A 1998 graduate of Dartmouth with a bachelor’s degree in government, Lee served as a captain of the Big Green football team during his senior year. He was a two-time All-Ivy League selection, and earned second team All-America honors from the Associated Press in 1996. Following his graduation, Lee played for the San Diego Chargers as a reserve safety and on special teams.
