Crusaders Win Atlantic Hockey Team Sportsmanship Award

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s hockey team has won the 2016-2017 Atlantic Hockey Team Sportsmanship Award as announced by the conference office. The award is given to the team that has the fewest penalty minutes. This is the first time the Crusaders have won this award in nine years.

The Crusaders led Atlantic Hockey with the fewest penalty minutes per game with only 9.5. The Crusaders also ranked fourth in the nation in this category.

This is the fourth overall time the Crusaders have won the Atlantic Hockey Team Sportsmanship Award. The previous times were 2005, 2006 and 2008.
