Heath Haddix is in his first year as the Assistant Equipment Manager at the College of the Holy Cross in 2017-2018. Haddix works with the men’s and women’s ice hockey programs, while assisting with the equipment needs of the Crusaders’ 25 other varsity athletic teams.
Haddix came to Holy Cross from the University of Connecticut, where he served as an assistant equipment intern and ice rink assistant. He served as the primary equipment manager for the women’s ice hockey program, and was the secondary equipment manager for men’s ice hockey. Haddix also operated the ice resurfacing machine, in addition to managing and training the student rink staff.
Prior to his time at UConn, Haddix was a gameday operations and marketing intern for the Findlay Freedom of the North Eastern Hockey League. He also spent time as an intern at the University of Findlay, where he had responsibilities as an equipment manager, video coordinator and ice rink manager.
Haddix earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from the Findlay.
