WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women’s basketball team is set to continue Patriot League action Saturday, as the Crusaders travel to Boston University to face the Terriers. Saturday’s game will be broadcast online via the Patriot League Network on PatriotLeague.TV. In addition, the game will be broadcast on Emmauel Radio (1230 AM | 1230radio.com) with Bob Fouracre on play-by-play. The game is part of the Turnpike Trophy rivalry series, which awards a point for each head-to-head victory between Holy Cross and BU. The Terriers lead this season’s standings 5-2.

SCOUTING HOLY CROSS
• Holy Cross most recently fell to Navy 65-58 on Thursday night in Worcester.
• Sophomore Lauren Manis leads the Patriot League with 18.31points per game and ranks sixth in rebounds per game with 8.4. She set a new career-high with 28 points in the loss at Hofstra, and recorded the 13th double-double of her career against Dartmouth.
• Senior Infiniti Thomas-Waheed notched her 1,000th career point in the win over Vermont with a jump shot in the third quarter. She became the 33rd player in program history to reach the milestone. She ranks second in the Patriot League in scoring with 16.8 points per game.
• Sophomore Megan Swords registered a new career-high with 12 points against Navy on Jan. 11.

SERIES QUICK HITS
• The Crusaders are 14-5 all-time against Boston University.
• In the last meeting between the two programs, the Terriers earned a 68-56 victory over Holy Cross in Boston on Feb. 25, 2017.
• The first meeting between these two teams took place during the 1975-1976 season, with the Crusaders earning a 48-37 win over BU.
• In games played in Boston, Holy Cross leads the all-time series 5-3.

LAST TIME OUT
• Senior Infiniti Thomas-Waheed led the Holy Cross women’s basketball team with 19 points, as the Crusaders fell to Navy 65-58 on Thursday night.
• Thomas-Waheed notched 19 points for Holy Cross (7-9, 2-3) while shooting 8-for-13 and adding six rebounds with three steals. 
• Sophomore Lauren Manis posted 16 points while adding six rebounds, three assists and two blocks. 
• Sophomore Megan Swords also scored in double digits, posting a career-high 12 points while adding six rebounds. 
• Navy (13-3, 3-2) was led by Hannah Fenske, who shot 7-13 on the night and tallied 24 points. 
• Taylor Dunham shot 8-for-14 for the Midshipmen to notch 21 points on the night, including 5-for-8 from three-point range.
• Navy shot 45.3% (24-53) for the game, while Holy Cross shot 37.9% (22-58). 
• The Midshipmen held the edge in rebounding, 35-32. 
• The Crusaders scored 21 points off the bench, while Navy added seven.

SCOUTING REPORT ON BOSTON U.
• Boston University enters Saturday’s game with an 8-7 record and a 3-2 mark in the Patriot League, having most recently defeated Colgate 62-49 in Hamilton, N.Y. Thursday.
• Last season, the Terriers went 13-17 with an 11-7 record in Patriot League play. They were eliminated in the quarterfinal round of the Patriot League Tournament by American, 57-51.
• Nia Irving leads BU in scoring this season, averaging 11.1 points per game while shooting 47.8%.
• Irving has also been the team’s leading rebounder, posting 6.8 boards per game.
• Head coach Katy Steding is in her fourth season with the Terriers.
