Danny Barlok Named Second Team All-New England

WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior pitcher Danny Barlok has been named second team All-New England, as announced by the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA). This is the first all-regional honor in his career.

Barlok had a stellar season for Holy Cross in 2018, posting the top ERA in the Patriot League at 1.71. His ERA also currently ranks 10th in the nation. In 20 relief appearances, he pitched 52.2 innings while earning a record of 5-2 and adding four saves. Barlok also ranked second in the Patriot League with 12.65 strikeouts per nine innings, totaling 74 on the year. He allowed 5.47 hits per nine innings, which currently ranks ninth in the nation. Barlok was also a unanimous First Team All-Patriot League selection, and earned Academic All-Patriot League honors.

Holy Cross finished its season with an 18-27 record and an 11-14 mark in the Patriot League, qualifying for the conference postseason for the fourth-straight year.
