Worcester, Mass.- The Holy Cross Volleyball team fell to Colgate, 3-0, by scores of 30-18, 30-19 and 30-24, in Patriot League action, on Saturday afternoon at the Hart Center. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 6-17 overall (2-9 PL), while the Raiders improve to 6-18 overall (5-6 PL).

Sophomore Christine Strawson (Torrington, Conn.) led Holy Cross with 10 kills, while junior setter Chrissy Fanning (East Amherst, N.Y.) dished out 24 assists. Senior captain Caitlin O'Callaghan (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and junior Valerie Mora (San Antonio, Texas) each had nine digs.

Colgate was led by Sheila Giovannini's 11 kills and Allie Nichols' 35 assists. Jackie Adlam was strong on defense as she led all players with 19 digs as Colgate had four players with double-digit digs.

The Crusaders return to action when they travel to Washington. D.C., to take on Patriot League foe American, on Friday, November 4, at 7:00 p.m.
