Holy Cross Volleyball Drops Match To Northeastern, 3-0

BOSTON, Mass. - The Holy Cross volleyball team fell to Northeastern, 3-0, by scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-11, at the Northeastern Tournament on Saturday. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 1-11 overall, while the Huskies improve to 5-7. Sophomore setter Chelsey O'Donnell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) was named to the all-tournament team.

Junior co-captain Samantha Surface (Fresno, Calif.) led the Crusaders with 10 kills, while O'Donnell had 20 assists. Sophomore libero Angela Chisholm (Millis, Mass.) had a team-best 13 digs.

The Huskies were led by Britney Brown's eight kills and 19 assists.

The Crusaders return to action when they begin Patriot League play at Lehigh, on Friday, Sept. 26.
