Holy Cross blanked by Army

West Point, N.Y. - The Holy Cross volleyball team fell in three straight matches (18-30, 22-30, 21-30) to Army, Saturday afternoon at the Gillis Field House.

The Crusaders were led by sophomore Valerie Mora (San Antonio, Texas), who registered 10 digs, senior Caitlin Agostinacchio (Bellmore, N.Y.), who tallied 10 kills, and setter Michelle Leahy (Andover, Mass.), who recorded 23 assists.

Black Knight's setter Abby Casciato totaled a double-double with team-highs of 40 assists and 10 digs. Danielle Cooper and Caitlin Machon both registered 13 kills to lead Army.

The Crusaders return to the Hart Recreation Center on Friday, Oct. 29 to take on American at 7 p.m., followed by Senior Night on Saturday, Oct. 30 when they go up against Navy at 7 p.m.
