FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Junior setter Chelsey O'Donnell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) recorded her 12th career double-double with 16 assists and 12 digs, but the Holy Cross volleyball team fell to Iona, 3-0, on the second day of competition at the Sacred Heart Invitational on Saturday by scores of 25-17, 25-21 and 25-19. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 0-3 overall, while the Gaels improve to 1-4 overall.

Senior Samantha Surface (Fresno, Calif.) and freshman Megan Lynch (Mendham, N.J.) each had six kills, while sophomore Kathleen Colpoys (Scituate, Mass.) posted five blocks. Junior libero Angela Chisholm (Millis, Mass.) led Holy Cross with 18 digs.

The Gaels were led by Rachel Whitten and Theresa Harvey who each tallied seven kills, while Nicole Tamburri recorded 30 assists.

The Crusaders will play their last match of the tournament today when they meet Missouri-Kansas City at 2:00 p.m.
