Holy Cross Volleyball Loses To Hartford, 3-0

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - Freshman Callie Black (Fallon, Nev.) recorded a season-best eight kills, but the Holy Cross volleyball team fell to Hartford, 3-0, on Monday night at the Sports Center by scores of 25-15, 25-20 and 25-22. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 0-5 overall, while the Hawks improve to 4-4 overall.

Junior setter Chelsey O'Donnell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) had 22 assists and six digs for the Crusaders, while junior libero Angela Chisholm (Millis, Mass.) also had six digs.

The Hawks were led by Erin Macro who posted 13 kills and Lindsay Ford who had 32 assists.

The Crusaders return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 9, when they travel to Smithfield, R.I., to play Bryant at 7:00 p.m.
