Holy Cross Athletics

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012:
• Played in four games on special teams.
• Made three tackles on kickoff coverage.
• Recovered a fumble to set up a Holy Cross touchdown in theLehigh game.
• Had a pair of tackles at Wagner.
• Made one solo tackle against Fordham.

HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played for head coach Jon Kadi at Walter Johnson High Schoolin Bethesda, Md.
• Earned second team All-League honors as a senior.
• Totaled 1,300 rushing yards, 1,500 receiving yards and 24touchdowns during his high school career, in addition to posting118 tackles and nine interceptions on defense.
• Also a member of the varsity wrestling and track teams.
• Claimed the 2012 state wrestling title at 182 pounds, inaddition to being a two-time county champion.
•Won the regional track title in both the 110-meter hurdlesand the 300-meter hurdles.
• Served as team captain for the football, wrestling and trackteams.

PERSONAL:
• Son of Zvi and Dina Covaliu.
• Has one brother (Itay) and one sister (Sigal).
• Sister, Sigal, was a member of the track team at MontgomeryCollege.
• Majoring in Computer Science.
