• The Lead: Sophomore Hannah Jeter (Eden Prairie, Minn.) and senior Dennis Muldoon (Weymouth, Mass.) were the top performers for the Crusaders in their respective races at the 2015 Paul Short Invitational on Friday morning in Bethlehem, Pa.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Muldoon was the top finisher for the men, finishing 73rd overall with a time of 25:15.
• Other top finishers for the men included freshman Joseph Prunty (New York, N.Y.), who finished 150th with a time of 26:09, junior G.Matthew Greco (Lower Providence, R.I.), who finished 163rd with a time of 26:20 and junior Michael Andre (Feeding Hills, Mass.), who finished 168th with a time of 26:25.
• Jeter was the top runner for the women, coming in at 33rd with a time of 21:21.
• Other top performers included junior Mary Welsh (Manhasset, N.Y.), finishing 105th with a time of 22:05, junior Rachel Sowinski (Mountain Top, Pa.), who finished 114th with a time of 22:11 and sophomore Annie Sullivan (Southborough, Mass.), who came in 155th with a time of 22:36.
• The University of Guelph captured the team title for the women, while Bianca Fernandez of Temple came in first overall.
• In the men's race it was Georgetown who claimed first place, with Patrick Tiernan of Villanova finishing first overall.

BEYOND THE RESULTS:

• The invitational hosted more than 400 competing teams with over 5,500 athletes in the various races on Friday. The women's gold race featured 35 teams with 312 runners, while the men's gold race featured 27 teams with a total of 278 runners.
