HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Muldoon finished 53rd overall with a time of 25:37 in the varsity race.
• Freshman Joseph Prunty (New York, N.Y.) crossed the finish line 101st with a time of 26:04.
• Other top runners for the Crusaders included junior John Bentivegna (Staten Island, N.Y.), who finished 152nd with a time of 26:37, junior Michael Andre (Feeding Hills, Mass.), who finished 157th with a time of 26:39 and junior G.Matthew Greco (Lower Providence, R.I.), who finished 162nd with a time of 26:45.

BEYOND THE RESULTS:

• The men's varsity race included 252 runners from 38 competing schools.
