  • Le Sann scored 13 straight points for Holy Cross during that spurt.
  • The Crusaders were still down by four (70-66) with six minutes left, before scoring the next 10 points to take their first lead of the night.
  • Charles drained back-to-back three-pointers during that run, including one which put Holy Cross in front for good.
  • A key basket by senior forward Malachi Alexander made the score 78-72 with 1:21 remaining, then the Crusaders made five of eight free throws down the stretch to pull out the victory.
  • Army had opened the game by scoring the first 12 points, and led by as many as 16 in the first half (36-20 with 6:01 to go).
  • The Black Knights eventually held a 45-35 advantage at halftime.
