Women's Ice Hockey Earns 10 Spots On NEHC All-Academic Team
WORCESTER, Mass. – Ten Crusaders were named to the 2016-2017 New England Hockey Conference’s All-Academic team as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Seniors Elizabeth Scala, Erin Hall, Meghan O'Donnell and Isabela Bagi, along with juniors Kelsey Goostrey and Emily Lissner and sophomores Aubrey Ashmun, Jackie Gellner, Julie Matthias and Sam Girard each earned the honor. Hall made the list for the third time, as Bagi was named to the team for the second-straight year. Ashmun led Holy Cross with a 3.36 cumulative GPA.
Members of NEHC teams must carry a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and have completed one full-year at their current institution for All-Academic recognition. A total of 147 student-athletes from institutions around the conference were named to the team, as St. Michael’s led the league with 17 student-athletes making the list.
