Women's Cross Country Finishes 21st at NCAA Regional
BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Holy Cross women's cross country team finished 21st out of 36 teams at the NCAA Northeast Regional. Senior Hannah Jeter led the Crusaders in the 6k race with a time of 22:42.6 and finished in 41st place. The Crusaders finished in 19th place in the 2016 NCAA Regioinal last year.
Sophomore Jenna Gasparrini finished right behind Jeter with a time of 23:16.3. Senior Annie Sullivan finished with a time of 23:35.4, and senior Zoe Matherne was not far behind with a time of 24:00.8.
Senior Elizabeth Lombardo finished with a time of 24:05.8. Senior Kate Spitler recorded a time of 25:31.3, and freshman Elizabeth Graves finished the 6k in 25:49.9.
