Two Crusaders Place First at Husky Invitational

Holy Cross Athletics   12-10-2017

BOSTON, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's track and field team finished 2017 strong at the Husky Invitational. The Crusaders had five top three finishers. Senior Josh Nickerson led the team with a first place finish in his heat in the 200m (24.22) and a fourth place finish in the high jump (1.83m). 

HOLY CROSS HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Freshman Evan Realbuto finished first in the 400m (55.83). 
  • Freshman Gabe Piepergerdes finished second in the second section of the 400m (51.55). 
  • Junior Ryan Clark placed third in the second section of the 400m (51.68).
  • Junior Joseph Prunty finished third in the 5000m (15:39.70). 

UP NEXT:

The Crusaders will have the rest of December off and will compete again in Boston, Mass., at the Tiger Invitational Jan. 12.
