Women's Tennis Takes Narrow 4-3 Loss To Bentley

  • The Lead: The Holy Cross women’s tennis team started out strong in doubles play, but ultimately came up short to Bentley 4-3 on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Crusaders captured a point in doubles play, winning two of three matches.
  • Juniors Allison Reiling and Morgan McGuire teamed up for a tiebreaker victory in the No. 1 match, 9-8 (8-6). Senior Meghan Lewis and junior Caroline Kam also helped secure the win by taking the No. 3 doubles match 8-4.
  • In singles play, Holy Cross won a pair of matches, while the Falcons earned wins in four matches to secure the overall victory.
  • Junior Jennifer Kary earned an 8-4 victory at No. 5 singles, while Kam secured the win in the No. 6 match by a score of 8-4.
