Amy Archambault is in her secondseason as a volunteer assistant women's lacrosse coach at HolyCross in 2013.
An alum of Holy Cross (Class of2008), Archambault scored 129 career points with 95 goals and 34assists for the Crusaders while serving as team captain her juniorand senior seasons. She is ranked eighth all-time at the school inpoints, while she is eighth in assists and ninth in goals. The 2005Patriot League Rookie of the Year, Archambault was a first-teamAll-Patriot selection that year and earned second-team honors in2007. Twice she played on Patriot League championship teams,earning bids to the NCAA Tournament in 2006 and 2007. After the2007 season, she joined USA Athletes International program tocompete in Australia. In 2008, she received the John A. MeeganAthletic Achievement Award from the Holy Cross Varsity Club.
Upon graduation, Archambault servedas a Volunteer Assistant at Trinity College and the University ofPennsylvania. Prior to her involvement with the Pennsylvanialacrosse program, Archambault worked as a strength and conditioningcoach for various varsity programs from 2009-2010. In 2010-2011,Pennsylvania earned an Ivy League Championship and NCAA automaticbid. The following summer, she was named Head Coach of the USAAthletes International program whom garnered second at the BerlinOpen in Germany. Since 2005, she has continued her extensive clinicwork with Nor'easter Lacrosse as administrative director and headcoach.
A Studio Arts and Psychology majorat Holy Cross, Archambault was named to the Patriot League AcademicHonor Roll from 2006-2008 and was a three-time Dean's List honoree.An accomplished artist, she has had works featured throughout theNortheast. She received the Soroptimist Dorothy & VernitaHaynes Art Award in 2007 and 2008, the Christopher Leland LyonsMemorial Scholarship in 2010 and was nominated for the JoanMitchell Award in 2011. She was awarded a Fifth-Year Fellowship atTrinity College where she served as a mentor to undergraduatestudents while managing the Broad St. Gallery, in Hartford, Conn.Archambault completed a Master of Fine Arts degree at theUniversity of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Studio Art whereshe served as a Teacher's Assistant in the undergraduate program.She currently serves as Studio Coordinator & Lecturer at HolyCross' Visual Arts Department.
