Kyle Traub is currently in his fifth season at Holy Cross as an assistant coach in 2018-19.
Traub attended Cornell where he was the captain of the lightweight rowing team in 2010-2011. In the Head of the Charles regatta in 2010, Traub helped Cornell attain a silver medal in the lightweight eight event. Traub also raced with the lightweight eight that placed fourth overall in the IRA National Championship in 2011.
After graduation, Traub moved to Oklahoma City to train with the U.S. men's national rowing team. He raced with the lightweight eight that placed first in the US Rowing National Championship in 2014 and was a member of the lightweight men's eight that placed fifth in the World Rowing Championship in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2014. He also served as a coach for the Oklahoma City Boathouse Foundation from 2012-2014. Traub coached the Devon Women's team to a first place finish in the OKC Corporate Sprints in 2012 and coached the Mid First Bank's team to a first place finish in the OKC Corporate Sprints in 2013. He also helped coach Capitol Hill High School to a third place finish in the OKC Youth Sprints in 2013.
Traub, A native of North Eastham, Mass., graduated from Cornell in 2011 with a degree in nutritional sciences. Traub's brother, Jordan Traub, was a captain of the Holy Cross men's rowing team (Class of 2014).
