Tim Bibaud is in his second year as the head women’s golf coach at the College of the Holy Cross in 2016-2017.

Bibaud came to Holy Cross from Assumption College, where he spent 21 seasons as the head men’s golf coach from 1994-2015. He led the Greyhounds to five NCAA regional appearances during his time at Assumption, and received the 2004 Gordon McCollough Award as the New England Coach of the Year. Bibaud also served on the board of the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association for many years, including a term as president. In addition, his team’s posted a perfect 100 percent graduation rate.

Bibaud is a 1981 graduate of Holy Cross with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He was a four-year member of the golf team for the Crusaders, serving as team captain during his junior and senior seasons. Bibaud went on to graduate from the New England School of Law in 1988, and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1989.

From 1988-2010, Bibaud served as an assistant district attorney for Worcester County. He established the gang and organized crime unit in 1992, and received the St. Thomas More Award in 2010. In August of 2010 Bibaud was appointed associate justice of the district court, then in January of 2012 he was appointed first justice of the Dudley district court.

Bibaud also has experience coaching basketball. He was the head boys’ basketball coach at Worcester North High School from 1994-2002 and at St. Peter-Marian High School from 2002-2006. In addition, he was an assistant men’s basketball coach at Assumption from 2004-2008.
