Ben Lunt is currently in his third year as an athletic trainer at Holy Cross in 2017-2018. Lunt works with the football, men's lacrosse and women's rowing teams, while assisting with a number of other sports.
Lunt spent one year as an assistant athletic trainer at Boston College before arriving at Holy Cross, where he worked on a daily basis with the football team, as well as the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams. He also has spent the last two years as a trainer at the Boston College summer football camps.
Prior to his time at Boston College, Lunt was a graduate intern athletic trainer at Central Connecticut State, working with the men’s soccer team. He spent time with Athletic Training Solutions as a trainer for local youth sport organizations, as well as a volunteer athletic trainer for the Connecticut Whale, the AHL affiliate to the New York Rangers. Lunt also worked as an undergraduate intern at Lewis Gale Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Salem, Va., during his time at Roanoke College.
A certified and licensed member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Lunt received his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Roanoke College in 2011, and his master's degree in physical education with a specialization in exercise science from Central Connecticut State in 2014.
