Cara Hanrahan Abraham is in her third year at Holy Cross in 2018-2019 and her second as the director of the Crusader Athletics Fund. She oversees all activities involved with the athletic development annual giving programs and fundraising within the Crusader Athletics Fund.
During the 2016-2017 school year, Hanrahan Abraham served as the Assistant Director of the Crusader Athletics Fund. She assisted with the implementation of the fundraising plan to support Holy Cross Athletics, while developing the fundraising, communication and event plans for 14 sports. She also served as the project manager for Crusader Nation magazine and was the point person for numerous Crusader Athletics Fund events.
Hanrahan Abraham came to Holy Cross from Bucknell University, where she served as the manager of athletic development for the Bison Club for almost two years. During the 2015-2016 school year, she helped Bucknell raise $2.6-million.
Prior to her time at Bucknell, Hanrahan Abraham was the previously the senior development manager at the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley. In that role she managed a portfolio of over 300 individual donors and 130 corporate accounts, with receipts totaling $3-million.
From 2010-2012, Hanrahan Abraham served as program assistant and teen program coordinator with the Community House of Hamilton and Wenham, a non-profit organization that sponsors cultural, social, educational and recreational programs.
Hanrahan Abraham is a 2011 graduate of Endicott College where she was a member of the field hockey team.
