Cara Hanrahan Abraham is in her second year as the assistant director of the Crusader Athletics Fund in 2017-2018. Hanrahan Abraham assists with the implementation of the fundraising plan to support Holy Cross Athletics, while developing the fundraising, communication and event plan for 14 sports. She serves as the project manager for Crusader Nation magazine and is the point person for numerous Crusader Athletics Fund events.
Hanrahan Abraham came to Holy Cross from Bucknell University, where she served as the manager of athletic development for the Bison Club for almost two years. During the 2015-2016 school year, she helped Bucknell raise $2.6-million.
Prior to her time at Bucknell, Hanrahan Abraham was the previously the senior development manager at the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley. In that role she managed a portfolio of over 300 individual donors and 130 corporate accounts, with receipts totaling $3-million.
From 2010-2012, Hanrahan Abraham served as program assistant and teen program coordinator with the Community House of Hamilton and Wenham, a non-profit organization that sponsors cultural, social, educational and recreational programs.
Hanrahan Abraham is a 2011 graduate of Endicott College where she was a member of the field hockey team.
