Women’s Tennis Announces 2017 Spring Schedule
WORCESTER, Mass. – Head women’s tennis coach Mike Lucas and director of athletics Nathan Pine have announced the team’s 2017 spring schedule. The Crusaders are set to compete in 13 matches this season prior to the Patriot League Tournament.
Holy Cross begins its spring slate with Sacred Heart on Feb. 25 in New Haven, Conn. before opening Patriot League play against Boston University March 2 on the road. The Crusaders will then return to action in West Point, N.Y. March 24-26, where they will compete for three-straight days against Patriot League opponents Army West Point, Loyola (Md.) and Lafayette. They will then close out the month of March with their first home match of the season against Trinity on March 30.
The Crusaders will face Franklin Pierce on the road on April 2 before hosting back-to-back home matches against Colgate and Bentley on April 8-9. Merrimack will host Holy Cross on April 19 before the Crusaders head to Clark on April 20. The regular season will then conclude with a pair of home matches on April 22-23, as Holy Cross hosts Roger Williams and Johnson & Wales, respectively.
The Patriot League Championship is set to take place April 27-30, with Lehigh serving as the host in Bethlehem, Pa.
