Women’s Soccer Places 11 On Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. – Eleven members of the Holy Cross women’s soccer team have earned a spot on the 2016 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Wednesday.

Junior Caitlin Harty headlines Holy Cross, making the honor roll for the third time in her career with a GPA of 4.00 during the fall semester.

Earning a spot on the honor roll for the second time in their career were junior Christina Callahan, junior Emily George, sophomore Emma Gurchiek and sophomore Megan Lawlor.

First-time selections to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll were senior Christina Napolitano, and freshmen Cassie Cheeseman, Kelly Crowley, Bridgette Dwyer, Carly Flahive and Samantha Peters.

A total of 163 student-athletes from women’s soccer teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade-point average of 3.20 or better during the fall semester.
