Volleyball Earns Six Spots On Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
WORCESTER, Mass – The Holy Cross volleyball team placed six student-athletes to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Thursday. Leading the league was American with 13 student-athletes named to the list.
Seniors Mandy Sifferlen and Emily Popp each were named to the list for the fourth straight year, while sophomores Kristen Somerville and Lynsey Petersen earned the honor for the second year in a row. Being named to the Academic Honor Roll for the first time was sophomore Luisa Soares and freshman Olivia Lozy. Sifferlen led Holy Cross with a 3.86 grade-point average.
A total of 93 student-athletes from around the league earned the honor. To be eligible for the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average or higher during the fall semester.
