Maureen Connolly Named Patriot League Offensive Player Of The Week

WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Maureen Connolly was named the Patriot League Offensive Player Of The Week, as announced by the conference on Monday. This is fourth time in her career that Connolly has received the award.

Over the weekend, Connolly added seven points as the Crusaders went 1-1, falling to No. 18 Albany before defeating Quinnipiac. She tallied two goals and an assist against the Great Danes and scored the game-winning goal against the Bobcats.

Connolly leads the Patriot League with 14 points, and has scored at least one goal in each of the first three games of the season. In her career, she has totaled 86 points on 35 goals and 16 assists.

Holy Cross returns to action this Friday, Sept. 8, as the Crusaders host Rider at 5:05 p.m.
