  • The Holy Cross women’s soccer team will play a pair of road game this weekend, heading to Iona on Friday afternoon before playing at Massachusetts on Sunday.

  • Sophomore goalkeeper Caroline Cashion earned the second shutout of her career, stopping a pair of shots on net as Holy Cross tied with Fordham 0-0.

  • Junior Megan Lawlor scored the first goal of her career in the Crusaders’ first victory of the season, a 1-0 win over Hartford on Aug. 24.

  • Junior Ang Seslija leads the Crusaders’ offense with four points on a pair of goals. She also leads the team with seven shots on the season.

  • Last year, Holy Cross defeated Iona by a score of 3-1 in Worcester in the Crusaders’ first game of the season.
