CBS Sports Network To Air Two Holy Cross Men's Basketball Games
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s basketball team will have two games shown live on the CBS Sports Network during the 2017-2018 season, as part of the Patriot League’s television package. Two other Holy Cross contests could also be shown, as the televised contests for the final two weekends of the regular season will be selected no later than 10 days before the game date.
The Crusaders’ first game on the CBS Sports Network will come on Monday, Jan. 22, when they travel to American for a 7:00 p.m. game. Holy Cross will then play host to Lehigh in its second CBS Sports Network appearance on Monday, Jan. 29 at 7:00 p.m.
Other possible televised games on the CBS Sports Network would be on Saturday, Feb. 17 against Bucknell, and on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Colgate. In addition, the CBS Sports Network will televise both semifinal games of the Patriot League Tournament on Sunday, March 4, and the championship game on Wednesday, March 7.
Season tickets for the 2017-2018 campaign are now on sale through the Holy Cross Ticket Office. The Crusaders will return nine letterwinners this season, led by junior forward Karl Charles and junior guard Patrick Benzan. Holy Cross will also add six promising freshmen to the roster, with a competitive and versatile group that is expected to make an immediate impact.
