Henry Stutz Named C&R Tire Crusader Of The Week
WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior goalkeeper Henry Stutz has been named the C&R Tire Crusader of the Week, for competition from Sept. 25 to Oct. 1. Stutz helped lead the Holy Cross men’s soccer team to a Patriot League win and a 1-0 record for the week.
During Friday’s 2-0 victory over Lafayette, Stutz made five saves while posting a shutout. The shutout marks his third of the 2017 season.
On the season, Stutz owns a 3-4-2 record with 32 saves, a 1.37 goals against average, a .711 save percentage and three shutouts. With three shutouts, Stutz ranks third in the Patriot League.
The Crusaders (3-4-2 overall, 1-0-1 Patriot League) return to action this Wednesday, Oct. 4, when they travel to Boston University to battle for the Turnpike Trophy at 7:05 p.m.
