Jeter Finishes Fifth Overall at New England Championships

BOSTON, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's cross country team finished in sixth place out of 28 teams at the New England Championships Saturday, Oct. 7 at Franklin Park. Senior Hannah Jeter finished fifth overall for the Crusaders with a time of 18:05.

New Hampshire took first place overall (101 points) for the second year in a row. Boston College placed second (119 points) and MIT came in third (131 points). 

Senior Zoe Matherne crossed the finish line with the second fastest time for the Crusaders at 18:36 and in 22nd place overall. Freshman Elizabeth Graves finished close to Matherne with a time of 18:54 in the 5k race. 

UP NEXT

The Crusaders will race in the Leopard Invitational in Easton, Pa., Saturday, Oct. 14.
