WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men’s hockey team will play their first Atlantic Hockey road series, with a trip to Robert Morris. The teams will face off at 7:05 p.m. on Nov. 3 and 4 in Pittsburgh, Pa. at the Colonials Arena.

Talking Points
• The Crusaders have tallied 21 goals in six games, ranking them 12th nationally in scoring offense (3.50 goals per game).
• Scott Pooley continues to lead Holy Cross after scoring four goals in the last two games. The senior forward has recorded seven goals on the season, ranking him third nationally in goals per game (1.17).
• Paul Berrafato leads the league in save percentage (.934). He was also named Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the week on Oct. 21.
• Of the 19 players who have seen time for the Crusaders, 18 have recorded at least one point and 14 have tallied more than one.
• In last weekend’s non-conference games, Pooley scored four goals and three were powerplay tallys.
• Five different players had multi-point weekends, including Logan Ferguson who scored his first collegiate goal.
• Holy Cross has scored 12 goals in its last three contests.

Scouting The Colonials
• The Colonials host the Crusaders with a 2-5-0 record and a 2-3-0 mark in league play.
•Robert Morris has faced three Atlantic Hockey opponents, falling at Niagara to open the season and splitting weekend series at Canisius and with Army West Point.
• In non-league play, the Colonials were swept by Ohio State on Oct. 27-28. The team enters the weekend on a three-game slide. Since the time of the games, Ohio State has been ranked No. 16 in the USCHO poll.
• With seven powerplay goals, the Colonials hold a 15.2% conversion rate on the powerplay and a 83.3% success rate on the penalty kill.
•At home, Robert Morris has skated to a 1-2-0 record and 1-1-0 home record in conference play.

Colonials to Watch
• Forward Brady Ferguson returns to Colonials after a 58 point season, finishing fifth nationally in points per game (1.53). Ferguson tallied 24 goals and 34 assists for 58 points in 2016-17. He currently leads the team with seven points in seven games played.
• Ferguson has scored two powerplay goals while five other Colonials have struck on the advantage.
• Francis Marotte and Andrew Pikul have both seen time between the pipes. Marotte leads with 298:44 minutes, a .905 save percentage, and a 3.21 goals against average.

Pooley On A Roll
• The senior forward leads the team and the league in goals (7).
• Pooley is currently riding a five game point streak, along with a four game scoring streak, scoring seven goals in four games.
• His team best three power play goal leads the team and is also a league best.
• Nationally, Pooley ranks third in goals per game (1.17) and is tied for fifth in powerplay goals per game (0.50).
•With eight points in six games, Pooley is tied for the second most points in Atlantic Hockey.

Crusaders Against the Rest
• Holy Cross ranks 12th in team scoring at 3.50 goals per game and tied for 20th in scoring defense at 2.50 goals against per game.
• The team is tied for 10th in scoring margin (1.00).
• Berrafato ranks ninth among all active NCAA goalies in save percentage (.934).

Holy Cross and Atlantic Hockey

The Last Time Against Robert Morris
• The Crusaders’ 2016-17 season ended in the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinals at Robert Morris, falling in two games. Robert Morris was the #4 seed while Holy Cross was the #5 seed.
• In the series, Mitch Collett scored two goals, Peter Crinella added a goal of his own and Ferrill scored a short handed goal.

Recapping Last Weekend
• Holy Cross played two non-conference games, hosting Dartmouth on Oct. 27 and traveling to Princeton on Oct. 29.
•The Crusaders split the weekend with the ECAC opponents, defeating Dartmouth, 5-3, on Oct. 29 and falling to Princeton, 4-2.
• Pooley notched his first career hat-trick against Dartmouth and added a goal in the game at Princeton to lead the team.
