FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

  • The Holy Cross volleyball team will play their last road matches of the season Friday, Nov. 3 and Saturday, Nov. 4 against Army and Colgate, respectively. 
  • The Crusaders lost both of the matches against the Knights and Raiders earlier in the season. 
  • Freshman outside hitter Katie Kerins leads the Crusaders with 251 kills on the season and ranks sixth in the Patriot League averaging 3.22 kills per set. 
  • Freshman libero Sophie VanSeveren holds the top spot in the Patriot League standings for digs per set (5.79) and total digs (463). VanSeveren is now ranked second in program history for individual season digs and needs 93 more digs to break the all-time record. She is also ranked ninth in the country in average digs per set. 
  • Senior defensive specialist M.C. Magner has recorded 1,260 career digs and is currently ranked fifth in program history for career digs. She has 215 digs on the season.
