Maureen Connolly Named First Team All-ECAC

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross field hockey senior Maureen Connolly has been named to the 2017 All-ECAC first team, as announced by the conference on Thursday. This is the first time in Connolly’s career that she has received All-ECAC honors.

Connolly had an impressive season offensively for the Crusaders, garnering First Team All-Patriot League, First Team NFHCA All-Northeast Region and NFHCA Senior Game awards. She led the Patriot League in scoring, notching a program-record 47 points on 19 goals and nine assists. Her 2.61 points per game ranked fourth in the nation. In her career, Connolly amassed 123 points on 50 goals and 23 assists. She finished her collegiate career ranked second all-time in program history for career points.

Holy Cross posted a 7-11 record in 2017 with a 3-3 mark in the Patriot League.
