WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women’s basketball team is set to continue Patriot League action Thursday, as the Crusaders return home to take on Navy at 7:05 p.m. Thursday’s game will be broadcast online via the Patriot League Network on PatriotLeague.TV. In addition, the game will be broadcast on Emmauel Radio (1230 AM | 1230radio.com) with Bob Fouracre on play-by-play.

• Holy Cross most recently fell to Loyola (Md.), 77-60, on Monday night in Baltimore, Md.
• Sophomore Lauren Manis leads the Patriot League with 18.3 points per game and ranks fifth in rebounds per game with 8.6. She set a new career-high with 28 points in the loss at Hofstra, and recorded the 13th double-double of her career against Dartmouth.
• Senior Infiniti Thomas-Waheed notched her 1,000th career point in the win over Vermont with a jump shot in the third quarter. She became the 33rd player in program history to reach the milestone. She ranks second in the Patriot League in scoring with 16.6 points per game.
• In the win at Colgate, senior Tricia Byrne set a new career-high with 19 points.

• The Crusaders are 42-18 all-time against Navy.
• In the last meeting between the two programs, the Midshipmen earned a 73-71 win over Holy Cross on Jan. 28, 2017 in Worcester.
• The first meeting between these two teams took place on Jan. 18, 1992, with the Crusaders defeating Navy 75-62 in Annapolis, Md.
• In games played in Worcester, Holy Cross holds the series edge at 22-8.

• Sophomore Lauren Manis posted 18 points to lead the Crusaders, but the Holy Cross women’s basketball team fell to Loyola (Md.) 77-60 on Monday night.
• Manis shot 8-for-14 for Holy Cross (7-8, 2-2) and added nine rebounds in addition to her 18 points. 
• Senior Katie Doherty also scored in double figures, adding 11 points while shooting 4-for-7. 
• Senior Tricia Byrne notched six assists and added four steals. 
• The Greyhounds (3-12, 1-3) were led by Stephanie Karcz, who posted a double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds while adding four assists and four steals. 
• Izzy Therien also had a strong night offensively, posting 18 points while shooting 6-for-6 from the free throw line.
• Loyola posted a 48-31 edge over Holy Cross in rebounding. 
• The Crusaders shot 39.3% (24-61) from the field, while the Greyhounds shot 42.6% (26-61). 
• Loyola made 69% of its free throws (20-29), as Holy Cross made 58.3% of its shots from the charity stripe (7-12).

• Navy enters Thursday’s game with a 12-3 overall record and a 2-2 mark in the Patriot League. The Midshipmen most recently defeated Colgate 70-54 on Monday night after dropping two straight games to American (46-41) and Lehigh (66-63).
• Last season, Navy was 24-10 with a 14-4 record in Patriot League play. They fell to Bucknell in overtime in the Patriot League Championship game, and went 1-1 in the WNIT with an overtime win over George Washington.
• Taylor Dunham leads the Mids in scoring this season, averaging 15.3 points per game while shooting 42.8%.
• Kaila Clark is the team’s leading rebounder, averaging 8.9 boards per game.
• Head coach Stefanie Pemper is in her 10th season at Navy.

• The Crusaders will return to action following the Navy game on Saturday, Jan. 13, as they travel to Boston U. to face the Terriers at 2:00 p.m.
