The Holy Cross men’s basketball team will be back at home on Sunday, Jan. 14, for a Turnpike Trophy match-up with Boston University at 1:05 p.m. The contest between the Crusaders and the Terriers will be shown by the Patriot League Network, and can be heard live on WEEI 1440 AM in Worcester.

Holy Cross owns an overall record of 4-12 on the season with a 1-4 mark in the Patriot League. The Crusaders have dropped six of their last seven games, and are coming off a 61-56 overtime loss at Navy on Thursday.

Junior forward Jehyve Floyd has led the team by averaging 10.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game, while leading the league with a .675 field goal percentage. Junior forward Karl Charles is also off to a strong start this year, with averages of 10.5 points, 2.7 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest. Freshman guard Caleb Green has added 8.9 points, 2.8 assists and 2.4 boards per game, while freshman guard Austin Butler is chipping in with 8.1 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest.

Boston University currently stands 8-8 overall and is tied for first place in the Patriot League with a 4-1 mark in conference play. The Terriers have won four of their last five games, including a 72-58 victory over Colgate on Thursday night.

Senior guard Cedric Hankerson has led the team by averaging 14.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game, while hitting 32.0 percent of his three-point attempts. Sophomore forward Max Mahoney has added 12.7 points and 5.1 boards per contest, while sophomore forward Tyler Scanlon is chipping in with 9.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

After the contest with Boston University, the Crusaders will remain at home for a 7:05 p.m. game with Army West Point on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
