Field Hockey Places 13 On Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
WORCESTER, Mass. – Thirteen members of the Holy Cross field hockey team earned a spot on the 2017 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Thursday.
Senior Maureen Connolly, along with juniors Lauren Ineson and Suzanne Noone, headlined the Crusaders with their third appearances on the Academic Honor Roll. Appearing on the honor roll for the third time in their careers were senior Rachel Lapar, junior Molly McGill and sophomore Danielle McAdam.
Seven Crusaders earned spots on the honor roll for the first time in their career; which included senior Casey Considine along with freshmen Emily Devine, Minke Koomen, Kate O'Donnell, Emma Skumurski, Olivia Venezia and Kristen Weber. Devine led Holy Cross with a GPA of 3.93 during the fall semester.
A total of 105 student-athletes from field hockey teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of 3.20 or better during the fall semester.
