Women's Cross Country Places 17 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. –  The Holy Cross women’s cross country team named 17 student-athletes to the 2017 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league. Bucknell lead the league with 22 student-athletes meeting league qualifications. 

Seven seniors were named to the honor roll. Haley Leishman, Hannah Jeter, Zoe Matherne and Annie Sullivan made the list for the fourth straigh year. Elizabeth Lombardo received the honor for the second year along with Kate Spitler and Erin Ahearn.

Junior Katherine Guilbo made the list for the third straight year. 

Sophomores Allison McArdle and Deana Pileika received the honor for the second straight year. Sophomore Jenna Gasparrini was also named to the list. 

Freshmen Elizabeth Graves, Clare Hanlon, Sophia Haywood, MacKenzie Jordan, Cricket Richter and Alyson Walsh all received the honor for their first year. 

A total of 135 student-athletes from men’s cross country teams around the league were named to the Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average or higher during the fall semester.
