Men's Tennis Announces 2018 Spring Schedule

WORCESTER, Mass. – Head Men’s Tennis Coach Brad Walulak and Director of Athletics Nathan Pine have announced the team’s 2018 spring schedule. The Crusaders will compete in 16 matches this season, with seven events scheduled to be held at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility.

Holy Cross will begin its season on Feb. 25, when the team will travel to New Haven, Conn. to take on Sacred Heart. The Crusaders will return to action at home on March 18, when they host Colgate before welcoming Suffolk to Worcester on March 20. Holy Cross will then open Patriot League play with three matches in West Point, N.Y. The team will play Army West Point March 23, Lafayette on March 24 and Loyola (Md.) on March 25. The Crusaders will then travel to Salem State on March 27 before heading into the month of April.

In April, the team will begin with matches on back-to-back dates, traveling to Regis on April 4 before hosting Stonehill on April 5. Holy Cross will also face Bentley in Waltham, Mass. on April 8 and travel to Bridgewater State on April 10. The team returns home on April 12 to host Franklin Pierce before hosting a trio of Patriot League matches in Worcester. The Crusaders will face Lehigh (April 13), Navy (April 14) and Boston University (April 15) at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility. Holy Cross will also host three neutral site games that weekend, including BU vs. Army (April 13), Army vs. Lehigh (April 14) and BU vs. Lehigh (April 15). The team wraps up regular season play at Nichols on April 19.

The Patriot League Tournament will be hosted by Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y., and will take place on April 26-29.
