WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s hockey team was defeated by Robert Morris, 4-1 in the first game of the best-of-three series with the Colonials in the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinals.

The Colonials (16-19-3) struck quickly in the game, scoring in the opening minute. The two teams battled for the rest of the first period, but no one else was able to get on the board.

The Crusaders (13-15-7) opened up the scoring in the second period with a power play goal of their own in the opening minute. The second period saw two more goals, each from Robert Morris.

HOW IT HAPPENED
