Football Team Set To Start Spring Practice
WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross football team will to hold its first spring practice session of 2018 today at 5:30 p.m. The Crusaders are entering their first season under new head coach Bob Chesney, and will be looking to lay the foundation for a team that can be a contender in the Patriot League.
Holy Cross returns nine starters off last year's squad, including three players who earned All-Patriot League honors in 2017: senior wide receiver Blaise Bell, senior defensive lineman Teddy Capsis and senior linebacker Jack McCabe.
Spring practice will conclude with the spring football game on Saturday, April 14. Following the game, the team will hold its annual spring cookout with the meal priced at $20.00 per person. To register for the cookout, click here.
