Scott Pooley Wins Paul Hines Award

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross men’s hockey senior forward Scott Pooley was awarded the Paul Hines Award, presented to the Most Improved Player by the New England Hockey Writers Association in announcement made by the Association on March 28.

Pooley entered his senior season with 64 career points, with three 20+ point seasons. Pooley started the 2017-18 season with two separate six-game point streaks. He tallied 18 goals and added 16 assists for 34 points to lead the Crusaders. On the power play he recorded 12 points from eight goals and four assists. Pooley was also selected as a semifinalist for the Walter Brown Award in the 2017-18 season.

 

Since the conclusion of the season, Pooley signed with the Toronto Marlies of the AHL where he scored his first professional goal in his AHL debut.
